The war is over, the battlefield has been cleared of Red Stripe and we can announce the winner is………..

Who cares it was an amazing night!

Big love and thanks to The Pioneer Club – Music for allowing us to do these nights, the DJs for bringing the bangers, the cloakroom boys for volunteering their time and dealing with A LOT of coats!

Most of thanks to all of you that bought a ticket and came along, and for helping make our new night a resounding success. It was great to see so many familiar faces, and lots of new ones too!

The battle is over. For now.

We’re excited to announce that we’re heading to London for a Pulp special on Saturday 1st July, and it’s round the corner from the gig!

We’ll be at World’s End Finsbury Park just by Finsbury Park tube with the best in 90s indie from 9-12 midnight!

So if you’re going to the Pulp gig and want to carry on the party after, or if you aren’t going but want to throw some shapes to the best in 90s indie, we’ve got you covered.

Common People of Ely!

We have not one, but two amazing bits of news for you.

Firstly because of all of you that came along to our last Ely event we were able to donate £300 to our charity partner Spectrum which will help them with their important work so thank you.

Secondly, we’re coming back!!!

We’re delighted to be returning to Ely Maltings on Saturday 17th June (the summer for a change)!

We’ll be bringing along a (digital) record bag choked full of 90s indie for you, along with our great video and plenty of Red Stripe!

Thanks as always to the team at The Maltings, Ely riverside, the volunteers from Spectrum for running the can bar, and the cloakroom guys for putting in another sterling performance!

Common People of Ely!

With just a few days to go until the best (and only) 90s indie night in Ely we thought we’d introduce you to the lovely volunteers who will be running our pop up can bar on the night.

Spectrum is a local parent led charity that helps organise events and days out for children with autism and additional learning difficulties.

We will be donating 10% of our proceeds to Spectrum so make sure you buy plenty of cans of Red Stripe and Strongbow to help a good cause!

We love our Hitchin nights. You never disappoint, whether it’s awesome requests or keeping the dancefloor busy right until the end, you guys nail it every time. Also thanks for giving our new DJ Jez such a warm welcome!

Huge thanks as always to Hitchin Town Hall for keeping the Red Stripe flowing. Also a massive shout out to the volunteers from Helping Herts Homeless who gave up their time to help scan you in and run the cloakroom.

We had the best time, and it looked like you did too! The Court Theatre was jumping and we loved it (even the sticky dancefloor!).
